Engaging with our Islam today is the discussion point for this episode of Khilafah Podcast where one must avoid being in on two extreme of the scales, idealism and defeatism.

 

On one hand you have idealism, which is broadly described as an ideal where we fantasize or pursue a utopia that only exists in the books. And on the other where you don't just accept the reality infront of us but we succumb to it and we alter our Islam and behaviour to the point where it contradicts it.
